Caroline Shrednick was born and raised in London, England. She trained as a nurse, and spent most of her time working in maternity units in London hospitals. She specialized in helping mothers with their newborns, and was also involved in setting up special home programs for handicapped children and adults for the local government.

In 1978 she immigrated to Los Angeles to continue her career in the medical community. During that time frame she has worked in every aspect of medicine. In the capacity of both medical administrator and nursing care, she has worked for some of the most prominent physicians in Southern California in such diverse specialties as orthopedics, plastic surgery, urgent care, urology, gynecology, neurology and general medicine. She has devoted years learning alternative medicine and uses a holistic approach and attitude to foster the healing process. She is extremely well known in the medical community and has an excellent reputation.

Her experience with patients has been one of support and nurturing. Making a difference, always acting as a patient advocate. She helps patients and their families through difficult times and pays attention to detail whether small or large, so that the patient feels cared for and important.

Over the past few years Caroline's greatest challenge has been to counteract the decline of medical care available to patients in the Los Angeles area, especially for post surgery. She has scheduled patients for their major surgeries to find out that they will only be permitted two days at most in the hospital. Some insurance plans do not even allow an overnight stay. This causes a great deal of anxiety and can put the patient at risk.

Los Angeles is very transient and many people do not have friends or family members here to take care of them. Caroline has dedicated herself to alleviating patient's fears and making certain that their post-op care is set up properly. She has found many outstanding nurses and caregivers for these patients, and indeed has taken care of many herself.

From outstanding medical care to homemade chicken soup, and providing individual attention to each and every patient, the healing process at Tranquility is superior.

Now, due to the overwhelming need of post-op patients, and the medical community, Caroline will provide either a beautiful home setting in the valley in a canyon behind gates for complete anonymity, or at a hotel in Beverly Hills, or indeed respite care in your own home. Caroline is now dedicating her efforts to patient care only. Hence the birth of Tranquility turns her dream for the past twenty-five years into a reality.
